This is a blog written by someone who, honestly, isn’t that smart, but is learning from people who are very intelligent. Money and finances doesn’t have to be that complicated. Dave Ramsey says that “Money is 80% behaviour and 20% head knowledge”. Being diligent with our money is more common sense than we realize, and the purpose of this blog is to say what a lot of others are scared to say out loud.
To be straight, I am not just some guy who walks around thinking that he knows everything to do with money. I have done things so stupid with money that it would make anyone and their cousin laugh out loud, but I am learning from my mistakes from my own experiences and from the advice of people more educated and wiser than I am.
I decided to enter the financial arena because I have turned myself into a numbers nerd, and I am currently in post-secondary education for accounting. I read a lot of magazines and books from the financial and business arenas so I try to stay in tune as much as I can. I hope to share an insight that anyone can and will understand, because if you don’t understand what’s going on with your money you can lose traction faster than you realize.
So leave a comment, send me an email with a question, and join the conversation! My identity is not shared on this blog frankly because I’m not that important, and it’s not about me. It’s about the subject, and I’m just looking to have some fun with this.
Have a good read, and I look forward to hearing from you.
